The Press Trust of India news agency reported that nuclear plants were put on alert Monday, Nov. 16 in the wake of the arrests in the United States of two suspects of complicity in the Mumbai attacks a year ago in which 171 were killed. David Headley and Tahawwur Hussain Rana, both of Chicago, are held to have maintained ties with the al Qaeda-linked Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) which was held responsible for those attacks.
Chicago Paper Blasts Obama and His Media Lap Dogs
A writer from The Chicago Sun Times says the lame excuses thrown out by President Obama are running thin. Steve Huntley wrote the following regarding Obama's insistence in keeping afloat the same-tired old liberal-strategy that dictates when all else fails, blame Bush!
You'd think it's October 2008, the final month in the Obama presidential candidacy, rather than October 2009, nine months into the Obama presidency. Yet the Obama White House is in full campaign mode -- maybe because it needs to mask the shortcomings of the Obama presidency.
Huntley also refuses to let Obama's "media pals" off the hook for their eager willingness to bark on command-like any good lapdog for their master:
The White House trying to dictate who's a news organization. Democrats out to gut a business group. Obama media allies damning Americans as racist, unpatriotic and treasonous. Is this the America Obama promised when he campaigned to end the cynical and divisive politics of the past?
Didn't you know, Obama? A "prophet" is not received in his own hometown.
