Many years ago, large packs of wolves roamed the countryside in Ukraine, making travel in that part of the world very dangerous. These wolf packs were fearless. They were not intimidated by people nor by any of the weapons available at that time. The only thing that seemed to frighten them was fire. Consequently, travelers who found themselves away from cities developed the common practice of building a large bonfire and keeping it burning through the night. As long as the fire burned brightly, the wolves stayed away.

I personally had some confusion on a Libertarian approach to foreign policy. Throughout my adult life I've swung back and forth on my opinions of how much foreign intervention American should have. This book has helped me clarify my ideas better. This book is a collection of Ron Paul's foreign policy speeches and writings throughout his political career starting in 1977 to 2006. When you study American history you will notice that around 1913 there is a huge change in America's foreign policy.
