- Defending right-wing talk from paleocons.
- "I'm on a boat" - language is most certainly not family friendly or SFW. But it's pretty funny.
- Think the media has a love affair with the President?
TIN Links 2.13.09
- Order v. Disorder comes through again, with "Why the Stimulus Won't Work"
- On the Write Side wishes to "salute" 3 Republican Senators for their fine work; The American Spectator has a more subtle view, i.e. Arlen Specter's up to something on a bill likely to pass with or without his support anyway
- Sometimes, co-workers really suck.
- Oh yes, identity politics in academia - wait, where is this happening again exactly?
TIN Links 2.10.09
- At Order v. Disorder, an rant against the President's first press conference that is attracting quite a bit of attention: "You're either with him, or you hate America"
- VDH's "Our Brave New World" is long but worth every minute of your time: it reads exceptionally well and there's lots to discuss.
- Angry with 3 certain GOP Senators? So is most of America.
TIN Links 2.9.09
- Order v. Disorder has a nice line about Obama's Cabinet nominations: "Three nominees with tax issues, and by tax issues I mean they apparently take issue with paying taxes."
- Is President Obama in over his head? Red, Right & Blue thinks so.
- At Rethink - trying to have a discussion about whether eliminating the corporate tax is a good thing.
More links later - just thought I'd post these before I forget.
The Obama administration had better get serious about terrorism fast…
...Little Green Footballs is doing a great job of cataloging just how unstable the world is becoming because of their actions. That all the posts and links are in place adds up to a pretty devastating case:
- Muslim teenager murdered by ex-Gitmo detainee
- Pakistan frees the guy who was selling nuclear technology to all sorts of unsavory characters
- Iran's still mad at us, for some reason. It's like they think we're a bunch of wusses or something and are trying to take advantage of that.
- Oh yeah, the guy who masterminded the USS Cole attack had the charges against him dropped
- One way to stop terrorists: have them sign pledges?
The importance of all these links isn't any of them individually - it's that a case is being made, and that case should be transmitted all over the web and to anyone who will hear. These are dangerous times, made all the more dangerous by irresponsible policies.
